Sometimes label samplers are a cash-grab, other times they save you much money by eliminating extraneous tracks to give you a taste of what the label is all about. This tact has always worked well for Six Degrees, who have made their name off eclecticism, and nowhere is that more apparent than in their refined compilations. There's nothing new here (aside from a few remixes) but Recline... is like having the label on random - bringing in high-quality down-tempo globaltronica from the likes of Sylk 130, Michael Franti, Tweaker and Bebel Gilberto without ever having to get up and change the CD.
