Vancouver's Wax Cowboy Enlist Tim the Mute to Star in Their New Video

Vancouver indie rock quartet Wax Cowboy are gearing up to release their new EP Scott on July 20. Ahead of its arrival, the band have introduced us to the EP's titular character with a new music video for its title track.

Directed by Lester Lyons-Hookham, the video stars Kingfisher Bluez bossman Tim Clapp (a.k.a. Tim the Mute) as Scott. As the band explains, "Some fact; some fiction, Scott is a hybrid character, a narrative drawn from a wealth of real encounters shared amongst the band and the director. A collective recounting — telling the tale of the internal life of a stranger."

The video utilizes quick cuts and delightful cinematography as it follows Scott in his day-to-day life.

Watch the video for "Scott" below and pick up the EP of the same name at the band's Vancouver release show on July 20 at Dodson Hall.
