Union Underground

Live...One Nation Underground

BY Amber AuthierPublished Aug 1, 2002

This live disc was recorded during the Union Underground's dates on Ozzfest, as well as individual dates in NYC and the band's native San Antonio, TX. For those looking to curb the Union Underground craving, this disc will fill the hunger gap, but not for very long, as this six-song record disappointingly only covers existing material. Live...One Nation Underground shows how tight the unit became on the road, but it doesn't even begin to explain the high energy shows the band were putting on in 2001. There isn't even ambient crowd noise on the disc, just a muffle of what sounds like an audience on "Killing the Fly." So, it really doesn't vary much from their debut disc, An Education in Rebellion. Anxious fans will just have to wait until the yet-unnamed follow-up is released.
