Detroit-based rockers Undesirable People are unleashing their brand new video for "Choose," and Exclaim! is giving you the first look at it.
The track will appear on a forthcoming 7-inch (along with "Dark & Dusty"), which is due out this summer via Head2Wall Records and is currently available for pre-order here. In anticipation of the release, the band have treated "Choose" to a video that sets out to make a statement about the current political unrest in the world.
"'Choose' is a compelling word that I feel has not only changed the world around us but has also become a natural plague to our daily lives and existence as a whole," singer/bassist Mark Lebiecki explains. "This song and video represent the power and importance of our rights in this reality to freedom of expression through art and music. Don't be scared of rock'n'roll, be scared of the ones who are taking it away from you."
The video testament finds Lebiecki donning preacher garb and delivering his message to the masses on TV. In a less-than-subtle move, the American flag backdrop behind him goes up in flames before the end of the clip.
