Uffie Reveals MC's Can Kiss

While her public persona is fading as the French electro scene loses steam in North America, Parisian poppy rapper Uffie has started dropping details on her debut album. As we previously told you, she plans to release her debut album Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans in the spring of 2010. Now we can report that the album will be preceded by an EP.

Called MC's Can Kiss, the EP's title track features production from Ed Banger crew mainstay Mr. Oizo. The press release describes the track as "an old school soundclash of heavy beats and sharp rhymes" and "a 'Pass the Dutchie' for the modern era." The EP will also include remixes from newcomers Zombie Disco Squad and Starkey.

The press release shed a little more light on Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans as well, saying that "the album will be capable of delivering a futuristic, electronic hip-hop soundtrack soaked in kittenish sex appeal, going in heavy on endlessly catchy pop hooks." However, no firm release date was given.

MC's Can Kiss, on the other hand, will be out just in time for Valentine's Day, on February 1 via Ed Banger.
