µ-ziq Unveils 'Chewed Corners' LP

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 30, 2013

As previously reported, electronic artist Mike Paradinas is dusting off his µ-ziq handle to deliver the XTEP EP on May 20 through Planet Mu. Now, it's been revealed he'll also be issuing a full-length platter just over a month later. Titled Chewed Corners, Planet Mu issues the LP June 25.

Despite next month's project-revitalizing 12-inch release, Chewed Corners will be the first proper µ-ziq LP since 2007's Duntisbourne Abbots Soulmate Devastation Technique. The album is described in a press release as "a suite of fourteen retro-futurist tracks, created with a lush, analogue sounding palette," and apparently dives into footwork and '80s-era pop.

Samples from the set have yet to be unveiled, but you can check out the tracklisting, which includes gems like "Christ Dust" and "Mountain Island Boner," down below. That's the album cover above.
