With their 2010 release Nothing Fits, Detroit punks Tyvek further cemented themselves as one of the most creative, well-rounded bands in the genre. Now, they will follow that release up with a reissue of their Fast Metabolism.
The record, which compiles the group's early singles but also works as an album, was originally pressed as a CD-R only. Now, the release will get the proper vinyl and CD treatment via a partnership between M'Lady Records and new Mississippi Records offshoot Water Wing Records.
Fast Metabolism was remastered by Timothy Stollenwork. The vinyl of the release will be sleeved in a tip-on jacket, and the first 150 copies ordered from M'Lady will be available on white vinyl. Pre-orders for the release started earlier this week, with a ship date expected for August 16.
