Detroit's lo-fi garage rockers Tyvek have released some pretty amazing singles on labels like What's Yr Rupture?, Sub Pop, and S-S, but the quality of those releases has only served to drive anticipation for their debut full-length, a mysterious album that has been mostly kept secret.
It seems, however, that the album could be out any day now through "shitgaze" pioneering imprint Siltbreeze. At their recent SXSW appearance, the band (who have shrunk to three members from the previous five) announced that their full-length album would be out this spring. This evidence is further supported by the band's booking agent, Panache Booking, which says the band "stand poised to release their first full-length album on Siltbreeze records in March/April."
While we can't offer any sort of title or tracklisting, we can say that all signs point to a Tyvek album any day now.br>
