Twitter Still Has a Lot to Say About Lizzo's Butt at the Lakers Game

"I just want to spread that love, and also spread these cheeks"

Lizzo went to the Los Angeles Lakers game on Sunday (December 8) and was feeling "Good As Hell" when she got her big moment on the Jumbotron. So good, in fact, that she stood up to reveal a dress with a butt-sized cutout in the back and twerked for all to see.

It's been three days since the game, and Twitter is still losing its mind over the thong-bearing fashion moment.

The outfit choice has sparked plenty of debate — some have been calling the ass-less dress inappropriate for a family-friendly event like a sports game, while others claim that if Lizzo was a smaller size she wouldn't be taking so much heat for the fashion choice.

Lizzo followed up on Instagram, informing her followers that she isn't letting the haters and critics get her down. She posted a very soothing inspirational video, reminding everyone that they are blessed and that negativity has no space in her life.

"Negative criticism has no stake in my life, no control over my life, over my emotions. I'm the happiest I've ever been. I'm surrounded by love," she said via an Instagram live video. "And I just wanna spread that love and also spread these cheeks."

Well, after a week of everybody talking about her butt on Twitter, Lizzo certainly has earned her title of TIME's "Entertainer of the Year."
