Family band Tweedy, featuring Wilco leader Jeff Tweedy and 18-year-old son Spencer, have issued another preview from their upcoming Sukierae LP, this time delivering the softened sounds of "Wait for Love."
The track is extra gentle, with Spencer supporting the arrangement with a lightly brushed waltz beat. Jeff Tweedy hushes out a series of love-awaiting lines, contemplating the distant future and kisses to come in the first couple of verses before letting a hopeful and humble whistle take over temporarily.
Mandolins, acoustic guitars and more handle the rest of the sigh-inducing arrangement, which you can hear down below courtesy of Consequence of Sound.
Sukierae officially lands September 16 through dBpm Records.
