Troy Sinister is the workaholic bass playing street-poster king from Toronto's longest running masters of fucked-up punk insanity, the Sinisters. The Dregs apparently pre-date his involvement in that band, and he's just now revived the project. The sound is stripped-down country-blues with distorted slap-back vocals and sparse guitar, drums and harmonica backing it all up. The simplicity of the recording has a demo-ish quality that is haunting at times but the lack of variety in arrangement and instrumentation does get a little old by the end of the of the five songs on this EP. Stand out songs include "Buffalo Shuffle" and "Christ On A Caddie.
