Trip-hip producer Tricky has been working on new music, and while he's not yet ready to follow up last year's False Idols, he's just shared five tracks for subscribers of his mailing list.
Not all of these songs are from his latest sessions, the package includes past cuts like "Black Coffee," "A Song for Yukiko," and a remix of Billie Holliday's "Strange Fruit." There are also two unfamiliar titles — "ESP" (featuring Liz Densmore) and "Emel" (featuring Emel) — which we assume come from the latest sessions.
In regards to why he's giving this songs away, he said in a statement, "Just because I can, and it's just for love." Fans can acquire them by signing up for Ticky's mailing list; those who are already signed up with be emailed a download link.
