After last month's Winterwave, AFROWAVETO returns to Toronto's History this summer will a full Latin lineup of local and international artists.

Hosted by Lexxicon — who founded the event in 2019 — and DOLOTHEGIFTED, AFROWAVETO will see Blessd, Fito Blanko, Alx Veliz, Looch Bodega, Aiona Santana, Bebeboy, EP the Latino and DJ Danny Castro performing on June 17.

The Jamaican-Canadian founder and artist sees AFROWAVETO's mandate as enabling the Toronto music industry's Black and Latin musicians working across all genres to grow by way of intentional programming, fostering safe spaces, and making community and cultural connections.

"The growth of the festival and its opportunities has been rapid thanks to our partnership with Live Nation," Lexxicon shared in a statement. "We are here to push for the culture and support genres that are often ignored in Canada. This year we have a full Latin lineup and will be showing massive talent both local and international. There is no shortage of talent in Canada, they just need our continued support in becoming the superstars they are meant to be."

Tickets go on sale Friday (April 7) at 10 a.m. ET.
