"Up the Creek"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 10, 2017

Tori Amos recently revealed plans for her next LP Native Invader, and now the baroque pop singer has shared a preview of what's to come with the song "Up the Creek."

Amos previously explained that the record takes inspiration from nature and its ability to renew and heal itself, despite humanity's role in its destruction.

"Up the Creek" is a family affair, channelling sayings learned from Amos' Native American grandfather, and also featuring vocals from her daughter Tash. Listen to the track below.

Native Invader arrives on September 8 via Decca Records. It will mark the follow-up to 2014's Unrepentant Geraldines.
