Tori Amos's influential art-pop debut Little Earthquakes celebrated its 30th trip 'round the sun this year, and to celebrate, Amos has announced a graphic novel based on the album.

Amos has teamed up with publisher Z2 Comics to put together the book, which includes 24 stories inspired by the album from a bevy of writers including Margaret Atwood (who writes a story based on "Silent All These Years") and Neil Gaiman (who writes about "Tear in Your Hand").

The stories are paired with artwork created by David Mack, Bilquis Evely and more. Other contributors include Leah Moore, Colleen Doran, Derek McCulloch, Lar deSouza, Annie Zaleski, Marc Andreyko, Cat Mihos, Neil Kleid and Alison Sampson.

"To have some of the most creative graphic artists interpret the songs from Little Earthquakes is a true honour," Amos said in a statement. "I enjoyed working with Rantz on Comic Book Tattoo so much that when he contacted me about putting something together for the 30th Anniversary, I had no hesitation. Artwork is such an important part of my musical world and to see these songs come to life in graphic form is such a joy."

The Little Earthquakes graphic novel (called a "graphic album" on its cover) will be available in bookstores this September. There are also limited deluxe and platinum editions, which include a collection of Little Earthquakes B-sides, plus some art prints.

Last year, Amos released her sixteenth studio album Ocean to Ocean.
