It marks the band's studio follow-up to 2015's epic The Most Lamentable Tragedy, though they also released live album S+@dium Rock: Five Nights at the Opera in 2016.
As previously reported, A Productive Cough hears frontman Patrick Stickles and co. fully embracing their previously teased aptitude for ballads, and many of the tracks were inspired by the city of New York.
