Tirzah has cancelled her North American tour behind album trip9love...? after coming down with pneumonia.
Announcing the cancellation on Instagram, the artist wrote, "I am so sorry to say a persistent cough has now developed into pneumonia so I'm unable to travel right now. It's with a heavy heart that I have to cancel my October headline shows and [III Points Music Festival] in Miami. Thanks for understanding and sorry again. I will be back soon."
Tirzah's string of seven dates was due to begin tonight in Los Angeles, while a performance at Vancouver's Cobalt Cabaret set for Sunday, October 15, has also been cancelled. You can find the artist's affected itinerary below.
We wish Tirzah a speedy recovery. The Mica Levi-produced trip9love...? arrived digitally in September by surprise, alongside the now-cancelled tour dates. A physical release is set to arrive November 17 via Domino Recording Company.
