Continuing their winning streak of that sweet, sweet lo-fi tape hiss, Columbus, OH scuzz rock trio Times New Viking have announced the details for their fourth long-player. The album, their second for Matador, is titled Born Again Revisited and is due to hit stores on September 22.
According to the press release, the album was recorded at "25% higher fidelity." Of course, in the case of TNV, that means the master of the album was delivered to the label on a VHS cassette. Still, as new track "No Time No Hope" proves, the songwriting continues to be top notch and would work well at any fidelity. Download the song here and check it out for yourself.
There's no tracklisting as of yet, probably because Matador had trouble transcribing Times New Viking's chicken scratch.
