No longer a van dweller, Kingfisher Bluez honcho Tim the Mute (a.k.a. Tim Clapp) will continue his upward mobility with the release of his sophomore full-length album Take My Life... Please! Ahead of its arrival this Friday, Exclaim! has been treated with a full album stream.
The release is a major evolution for Tim the Mute, both in sound and scope. The songs are lengthy and autobiographical, and feature densely layered production. Still, Clapp's confessional earnestness and oddball sense of humour remain front and centre throughout the release.
