Philadelphia fire-cracker Tierra Whack has shared a new three-song EP called Rap? and said Jay-Z called her "the Joker of the game" in a new interview with Apple Music.

"So I've seen the most recent Joker, the movie, about five times, it's like one of my favourite movies," Whack said, explaining the inspiration behind the EP's rumbling opener "Stand Up."

"I watched it once just by myself when it first came out and then I had a conversation with Jay-Z and he was like, 'Yo, you're the joker of the game,'" she continued. "And I'm like, 'What does that mean?' And he's like, 'You come off happy but there's a dark side.' And honestly it stuck with me. And I'm just like, you know what? That's exactly who I am. I'm the joker, I'm the wild card. So yeah, I needed a record to make me feel badass, and that's what 'Stand Up' is."

"Stand Up" comes with a luxe new video and rides a menacing, Kanye-esque synth figure, while "Meagan Good" and "Millions" feature some funk and gospel influence. The EP clocks in at just under nine minutes, and you can listen to it below.

Rap? arrives alongside a newly-announced collaboration between Whack and Vans, featuring an '80s-inspired footwear collection emblazoned with Whack's acronymic mantra "Weird Hype and Creative Kids."
