Just as the first three Radiohead records were honoured with reissues in March, so too will the band's next three albums this summer. That means, up on deck for a little re-release action are 2000's Kid A, 2001's Amnesiac and 2003's Hail to the Thief.
According to Pitchfork, Radiohead's fourth, fifth and sixth albums will be available August 25 as two-CD reissues, as well as collector's edition, triple-disc sets including the albums proper, a disc of rarities and a bonus DVD. Both versions will include B-sides, live songs and studio sessions on the second rarities disc.
It seems the band's ex-label, Capitol Records , is hell-bent on squeezing every last releasable track out of the band who forged out on their own to release In Rainbows in late 2007 as a download-only album, then as a physical release on January 1, 2008.
Last year, Capitol received a lot of backlash from fans, as well as the band themselves for the underwhelming The Best Of album, with singer Thom Yorke dryly commenting to Word Magazine, "We haven't really had any hits, so what exactly is the purpose?" The major complaint from fans and critics was that the greatest hits disc offered little new material. The same cannot be said for the new series of reissues, however.
So, Radiohead completists rejoice, because here are the full tracklistings for all three of the new collector's edition reissues:
