This Ending

This Ending is the new incarnation of the band formerly known as A Canorous Quintet, whose members all went in different directions years ago to pursue other interests. Most notable of these partings was drummer Fredrik Andersson's commitment to Amon Amarth. While the popular Vikings soar in popularity nowadays, Andersson and the rest of his former Quintet band-mates have found time to record and release their second disc under their new name. What you get with This Ending isn't the most distinctive songwriting; in fact, it sounds a lot like Arch Enemy, but with way better screams from front-man and founding member Marten Hansen. The end result is a vicious record that displays some raw technical talent, most of all from Andersson.
