Unwrap the cord to the headphones and loosen off the screws in your spine, as somewhere from between the spaces occupied by Piano Magic and Labradford comes our boy Lucas. The organics are there, but the digitiser has taken its toll, with rather magnificent results. Possibly a two-tier approach is taken, one where the communicative guitar and key touches direct a ethereal scene that allows esoteric and escaping nuances to fluoresce at will. One is occasionally left wondering whether that was an actual note or just sonic interference? But draws the eventual conclusion, "more please." This Bristol 20-year-old has produced a standout record.
