While we've already heard "Cindy Runs" from the Wilderness of Manitoba's upcoming Across the Dark, we're now getting hit up with another new teaser track. Called "Head for the Hills," you can dive straight into the track now.
In a statement, Wilderness of Manitoba mastermind Will Whitwham said of the new song's concept "on the surface, it's a concept that relates to one fearing the decay of his or her land in the change of season, the dying of crops, etc., but the change of season also reflects something deeper and more internal; a mental instability, an anxiety, a fear, triggering the 'flight over fight' response when whatever you're up against seems too daunting."
You can hear "Head for the Hills" below.
As previously reported, Across the Dark arrives September 15 through Pheromone Recordings. The Wilderness of Manitoba also has a pile of upcoming Canadian dates coming up, and you can see them all here.
