The Smile just released a live album over the holidays, and now Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood's project are dropping more concert recordings, this time a vinyl-only EP. Europe: Live Recordings 2022 is out March 10 on XL Recordings, and they've also announced a new leg of North American touring.
The 12-inch contains six live songs — five of them from last year's A Light for Attracting Attention, plus "FeelingPulledApartByHorses," a Thom Yorke solo track that the band performed throughout the tour (including at their Toronto stop). The EP was recorded at various tour stops last year.
In 2023, the Smile will continue their busy touring schedule. They will come to North America for a month in June and July, playing dates in US and Mexico and making one Canadian stop: Laval, QC, on July 15.
