Kip Berman's long-running indie pop project the Pains of Being Pure at Heart recently detailed plans for a new album. We've already heard The Echo of Pleasure's lead single "Anymore," and now there's a companion track to get us excited for the release.
"When I Dance with You" is an undeniably '80s dance pop tune, adding plenty of the Cure to Berman's heart-on-sleeve list of influences. That said, it's a welcome and natural evolution in the Pains sound.
