Another day means another surprise drop from endlessly musical rockers the Dave Matthews Band. As previously reported, Dave and the boys have a new album called Come Tomorrow coming way later than tomorrow on June 8 via RCA Records. Today we get our first taste of the release.
Perhaps in a nod to Troma's enduring classic Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD (or the obscure 1991 movie Samurai Cop), DMB's new tune is called "Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)."
Unexpected title aside, the song is another densely layered tune that pairs top-tier musicianship with Matthews' sultry croon.
