The duo's music will finally be available on Bandcamp

In celebration of 20 years of the Knife, the Swedish electronic duo have announced plans for a reissue campaign featuring rarities and previously unreleased material.

After first teasing the campaign earlier this week, the series will include multiple remixes of Deep Cuts favourites, like "Pass This On," "You Take My Breath Away" and "Heartbeats." Mute Records will deliver variations of all three digitally, with "Pass This On" getting a 7-inch release as well.

Additionally, the Knife will re-release their 2017 live album, The Knife: Live at Terminal 5, as well as their official film soundtrack for Swedish thriller Hannah Med H. Both will arrive digitally Rabid, while physical formats of Terminal 5 will be sold through BFD/Orchid.

And, for the very first time, Rabid Records will bring the catalogues of the Knife, Fever Ray and Olof Dreijer to Bandcamp. Those collections will appear on the platform beginning this Friday (August 14) — on the band's official 20th anniversary.

News of a commemorative anniversary live event is forthcoming. Stay tuned as more information unfolds.

Last year, the Knife teamed up with Björk and offshoot Fever Ray for a series of remixes. The band announced their split back in 2014. Prior to their breakup, they released five full-length albums, including 2006's wildly popular Silent Shout.
