The Juno Awards are celebrating their 50th anniversary this May, and to mark that golden anniversary, Canada Post is issuing a special commemorative stamp.
Today Canada Post unveiled the stamp, and you can check it out above.
The black-and-gold stamp was created by Montreal-based design studio Paprika and illustrated by Amanda Arlotta, featuring the newly redesigned Juno statuette that the winners will receive this year. The statuette draws inspiration from Shirley Elford's design, which was first handed out in 2000.
The Juno Awards first started way back in 1970 as the Gold Leaf Awards. The next year the awards were renamed in tribute to Pierre Juneau, the first head of the CRTC.
