The Highest Order Announce 'Still Holding' LP, Premiere New Track

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 13, 2016

Fiver's Simone Schmidt is taking the focus off of her solo project to deliver another album as the frontperson for Toronto folk rock crew the Highest Order. The band's Still Holding collection comes out next month, but Exclaim! is premiering a stream of the group's softly shuffled, moon-gazing "Hurry Down" right now.

Jangled guitar chords, jam-band licks and open range snare hits all help back Schmidt's evening shade vocals. While at one point she muses on some interplanetary business, she mainly implores for a figure to "hurry down" and catch up with her on earth.

You'll find the new tune down below, along with some upcoming tour dates, while Still Holding sees release June 10 via Idée Fixe Records.

3. Slip Away
