The Flaming Lips Treat 'The Soft Bulletin' to 20th Anniversary Vinyl Reissue

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Sep 27, 2019

The Flaming Lips are celebrating their 1999 high-water mark The Soft Bulletin with a 20th anniversary vinyl reissue.

The celebratory repress will arrive as a 2-LP set exclusively through the Vinyl, Me Please subscription service. It will be pressed on mustard yellow vinyl, keeping the album's original 13-song tracklist. This includes the song "Slow Motion" that was left off the U.S. version of the release. The reissue also adds in a new art print by Lips frontman Wayne Coyne.

"The Soft Bulletin is a record that's always with us... and we're always considering it... we're always playing it.. we're always celebrating it," Coyne said of the reissue in a statement.

You can pre-order the set today starting at 12 p.m. EDT via Vinyl, Me Please. See the tracklist below.

The Flaming Lips' most recent album was this year's King's Mouth: Music and Songs.
