The Breeders

'All Nerve' (album stream)

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Mar 2, 2018

Ten years removed from fighting their Mountain Battles, the Breeders have delivered a brand new full-length, and you can hear the entire thing right now.

Arriving today through 4ADAll Nerve runs 11 tracks in length and was recorded with Mike Montgomery (Candyland), Steve Albini and Greg Norman (Electrical Audio), as well as Tom Rastikis (Fernwood Studios). The artwork was designed by the band's longtime collaborator Chris Bigg.

The band's lineup remains that which delivered the group's 1993 LP Last Splash — Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson. They had gott back together for a run of reunion shows for the aforementioned album's 20th anniversary, going on to work on new material. A guest appearance comes from none other than Courtney Barnett, who lends her vocals to "Howl at the Summit."

Take in all of All Nerve below.

As previously reported, the Breeders have a series of tour dates coming up, and you can see those all here.
