After almost two years of not being able to tour due to the pandemic, Toronto four-piece the Beaches have just plotted an extensive Canadian tour in support of their recent Future Lovers EP.
The group will perform a 20-date run with the Blue Stones beginning in early 2022. The month-long trek will kick off in Montreal on February 3 at the Corona Theatre. Along the way, they'll make stops in Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary, Vancouver and more cities nationwide. The tour will conclude at Victoria's Royal Theatre on March 6.
"We've been waiting a long time to get back out on the road and play some shows," lead vocalist Jordan Miller said in a release. "Like so many others, we were grounded by the pandemic in 2020. But the upside was we were able to step back, write, record, and release more music. Now we get to come back out and kick some ass. I hope everyone is as ready as we are."
In addition to their upcoming tour dates, the Beaches have also announced plans for a new LP, Sisters Not Twins (The Professional Lovers Album), which will "conjoin" the band's Future Lovers and The Professional EPs for a new musical surprise. More details about that release can be found here.
