On the heels of announcing new album Consider the Speed, Terra Lightfoot has now lined up a trio of release shows for listeners in and around her hometown of Hamilton, ON.
Over two days in October, Lightfoot has lined up three performances at 125 Barton St. W. (South Building), capped at 50 audience members per show. The full-band outings will see the songwriter joined by bassist Eli Abrams and Blue Rodeo drummer Glenn Milchem.
Lightfoot's first show on October 16 — the release day for Consider the Speed — will be a "dinner and a show" affair, with eats coming courtesy of Hamilton rockstar chef Jonny Blonde.
On October 17, Lightfoot and her band will perform both matinee (12-4 p.m.) and evening (6-10 p.m.) shows, with the latter set to be streamed through Dan Mangan's Side Door livestream concert platform for those unable to attend in person.
Tickets to Lightfoot's October 16 concert are $100 (plus service charges and HST), while tickets to the October 17 concerts are $50 (plus service charges and HST). Livestream tickets are available through Side Door for $7.
Further ticketing and physical distancing information can be found through Lightfoot's official website. Consider the Speed arrives October 16 through Sonic Unyon.
