Tegan and Sara are continuing on their merge into the world of graphic novels, penning a sequel to last year's Junior High. CRUSH is set to arrive October 1.
Illustrated by Tillie Walden, the book will pick up where Junior High left off, following the Quin twins into Grade 8. A press release on the band's website says the latest volume is "all about crushes, crushing it, and being crushed by life in junior high." Beyond interpersonal relationships, it will also tell the story of a fateful battle of the bands.
CRUSH and Junior High are both prequels to 2019's High School — Tegan and Sara's first graphic novel, which has been adapted into a TV show.
