Tate McRae Announces Sophomore Album 'Think Later,' 'SNL' Appearance, World Tour

She'll play shows in Toronto and Calgary next July

They say good things come in threes: Canadian pop phenom Tate McRae has announced her sophomore album, alongside a Saturday Night Live appearance and plans for a world tour in 2024.

Think Later is set for release via RCA Records on December 8 — just weeks after McRae makes her SNL debut with host Jason Momoa on November 18. The album is now available for pre-order.

It follows the Calgary-born artist's JUNO-nominated 2022 debut album, i used to think i could fly. As recently teased, the LP was executive produced by pop mastermind Ryan Tedder, who first collaborated with the singer on her recent hit "greedy."

"This album means sooo much to me and I can't believe it's so close to coming out. Writing this whole thing was one of the most stressful, exciting, nerve racking, and fun things I've ever gone through," McRae shared on Instagram. "For the first time in my life I lived this year a little less with my head and a little more with my intuition — and I rlly hope u guys can feel that through the music. Through the biggest highs of my life to the lowest of lows — I feel so happy that it is now gonna be yours <3 here's to 20 years old and figuring [out] who the fuck i am haha."

Next year, she'll head out on a world tour behind the album, beginning in the UK and Europe in the spring. The North American leg kicks off in July with a hometown show in Calgary (July 5) and a stop at Toronto's Budweiser Stage (July 27) before McRae continues playing shows in the US through the summer months. In November 2024, she'll bring the Think Later tour to Australia and New Zealand.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (November 10). Before that, various presale opportunities start tomorrow (November 7). Check out the pop star's full itinerary below.
