On Twitter, frontman Spencer Krug announced that the band were selling posters in order to fund their spring outing. The money will go to flights, rehearsal spaces, hotels, van deposits and instruments. He wrote, "Apparently when Sunset Rubdown disbanded thirteen years ago we didn't think to set aside 4K in startup funds in case we should ever decide to reunite."
There are three poster designs, with each screen printed 8-inch-by-8-inch poster going for $30 CAD and all proceeds going towards startup costs for the tour. Two of the designs are by Krug himself, as the other is by Matt Miraz.
The posters are being sold through Krug's website. Each one is limited to 100 copies — and evidently the sale is going very well, since two of the designs are already sold out after being on sale for just a day.

So, as this tour is definitely happening now, and the band finds itself spread across our too-wide nation, we've schemed up a little fundraising campaign to help with pre-tour costs; things like flights, rehearsal spaces, hotels, van deposits, even instruments. pic.twitter.com/xujHWbhCuo

These 8x8 screen printed posters are based on T-shirt and album art from Sunset Rubdown one-point-o; pretty little pieces of frameable nostalgia for your wall, and we're selling them each for $30 CAD, with ALL PROFITS going toward startup costs for our reunion tour in March. pic.twitter.com/uN2ryIP3WY

Basically we're hoping to trade some posters for some seed capital. If you like the look of any of these posters, and you consider helping Sunset Rubdown get back on the road to be a good cause, then buy it! Collect them all! (There's only three.) pic.twitter.com/JQEMtQy11T
