Money continues to be a major problem for touring bands, as many bands have cancelled shows in recent months due to issues like inflation, the supply chain and the financial risks of getting sick. Now, Sunset Rubdown are trying to get ahead of the problem by raising money to launch their reunion tour.

On Twitter, frontman Spencer Krug announced that the band were selling posters in order to fund their spring outing. The money will go to flights, rehearsal spaces, hotels, van deposits and instruments. He wrote, "Apparently when Sunset Rubdown disbanded thirteen years ago we didn't think to set aside 4K in startup funds in case we should ever decide to reunite."

There are three poster designs, with each screen printed 8-inch-by-8-inch poster going for $30 CAD and all proceeds going towards startup costs for the tour. Two of the designs are by Krug himself, as the other is by Matt Miraz.

The posters are being sold through Krug's website. Each one is limited to 100 copies — and evidently the sale is going very well, since two of the designs are already sold out after being on sale for just a day.
