Spencer Krug's Sunset Rubdown have reunited for a 2023 North American tour that will take the band across Canada and the States in March and April.
UPDATE (2/22): Sunset Rubdown have added another round of dates to their North American reunion trek, making stops in Western Canada and the midwestern US before playing a second Torontos show. You can find their updated itinerary below.
Twelve and a half years on from their final show in Tokyo in 2009, Krug, "whimsically sending the band a group email about a possible reunion, after having dreamt about it the night before," convinced his former bandmates to reunite "that same afternoon," according to press materials.
Their reunion will first take the form of a 14-date tour, which will send the band across Canada — including stops in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa in March, and Victoria and Vancouver in April — plus a handful of cities in the US.
Additionally, the band have hinted that they may record a new album — their first since 2009's Dragonslayer. Stay tuned as we await more info on that, and check out the band's reunion tour dates below.
