Calgary psych-pop quartet and Exclaim! New Faves alumni Sunglaciers are a few months off from the release of their latest studio album Subterranea, which arrived via Mothland. They'll soon take the record on the road, having detailed an extensive tour of North America taking place over the coming months.

Starting in their hometown on September 24, the band will make their way down the American West Coast before returning north of the border for a performance in Vancouver on October 7. They'll then head through Victoria and Edmonton, landing in Toronto on November 4 before a show in Windsor the following night (November 5). Following another string of American dates, the Canadian run wraps up in Montreal during M for Montreal mid-November.

In addition to the news of their upcoming tour, the band have also shared a video for Subterranea cut "Glue," which finds the young Albertans teaming up with Western Canada music scene vet, Chad VanGaalen, who also co-produced their record.

The video was directed by bandleader Evan Resnik, who shared the following in a statement:

The simplistic lyrics of "Glue" disguise underlying themes of possession, decay, and expectation. The pressures we feel from the outside mutate into something we perceive to be coming from within, endlessly pursuing things we don't need, or even want, while trudging through existence. But it works the other way too — misinterpreting the outside world to fit our egoistic desires. It's about transcending these burdens and moving on without a care in the world. In the video I played around with these ideas using echoes, mirroring, and general fucking around. I haven't done many videos so I'm learning a lot and having fun. It's a psychotic frenzy, but there's some beauty in there.
