The timing on the release of this collection of outtakes and rarities may be a little off (typically these between album offerings are dropped around Christmas time), but the content is no less significant. Hailing from the DC suburb and punk hotbed of Richmond, VA, Strike Anywhere have in just three short years established themselves as one of the best punk bands around. Given that theyre still touring on the strength of a 2003 album (Exit English) they havent really had time to record new material. This disc collects their 2000 Chorus of One EP, some selected seven-inch tracks, an Exit English outtake, and three covers (Gorilla Biscuits, Dag Nasty and Cock Sparrer) that give you a solid idea of where they drew their influences.
