S.T.R.E.E.T.S.

Worms

Judging by S.T.R.E.E.T.S.’ hostile musical assault they would have you believe that it’s 1986 all over again, and that skate rock bands like Suicidal Tendencies, Excel, Aggression, and DRI reign over every empty pool and half-pipe in Southern California. Metallic, swift, and technical, (without too much guitar masturbation) S.T.R.E.E.T.S. rock with their cocks out and their skate decks in hand. If this is a re-release of their demo cassette, one has to wonder how mighty a full-length album would be if the band was given a proper studio to record in and better production. It’s nice to know that bands are still creating music to scare the neighbours and little old ladies into believing that they’re possessed to skate.
