Stay Sharp come from the same school of bands as Comeback Kid and Daggermouth. That means they play fast songs with chugging guitars and yelled vocals. But where Stay Sharp set themselves apart from the crowd is in their use of melody. While the songs are clearly fast and tough, they also contain hooks that wouldnt sound out of place on a Descendents album (check out "Sign It for the best example). The only place this record fails is in its length only one song breaks the two-minute mark. And for a four-song EP thats entirely too short, especially when the songs are this good. They are definitely a band to keep an eye out for, however.
