Stars have unearthed a couple of outtakes from last year's The North for a new 7-inch, and following the A-side "Wishful," the B-side, "The Light." has now emerged.
While "Wishful" was melancholically upbeat and cinematic, "The Light" is slower is a little sparser and more subtle. It begins with an atmospheric intro that shifts into a slow and slinky groove soon after the one-minute mark. This low-key dance jam gets increasingly orchestral in the final passage, although the shadowy groove is what really shines here.
The new 7-inch comes out on September 10 through ATO.
