Striking somewhere right in between rhythmic '90s post-hardcore and ragged, Springsteen-obsessed Canadiana, Calgary's Stalwart Sons have carved out a very specific and unique sound for themselves that manifested itself well on last year's Burn These Daylights Like Torches LP. Now, the group have shared four songs from upcoming split seven-inches due later this year.
All four songs are available to download or stream in the embedded player below. The songs "The Shared Cup" and "Steady on the Plough" will be released on a split seven-inch with Slates, while "Garden of Paths" and "Born to Thirst" will be on a split seven-inch with Union of the Snake, a new project featuring members of North of America.
Both releases will be available in June via Revolution Winter to coincide with Stalwart Sons' cross-Canada tour, the dates of which are available below.
