Following some recent teasing, Annie Clark is circling back to her promised new St. Vincent album. And while we're still without firm details for the LP, she has treated lead single "New York" to a new video.
Living up to his name, the song gets a video that's very Big Apple, to say the least. With the clip directed by Alex Da Corte, it features a stunning array of glossy, colour-packed imagery, with Clark at the centre of it all in high fashion.
"I think Annie's New York is the New York of my dreams-one that is blurry and fractured, dreamy and flat," Da Corte said in a statement. "It is the Toontown to my Hollywood. It is beautiful but slightly out of reach."
You can watch the video for "New York" below as we continue to wait on the details for St. Vincent's as-yet-untitled new album.
