As cryptically hinted at last week, St. Vincent (a.k.a. Annie Clark) has returned with a brand new single titled "New York."
In addition to paying homage to the titular town, the new tune hears Clark delivering an ode to "the only motherfucker in the city who can stand me."
Clark previously debuted the song last year onstage in New York — dressed as a toilet, no less. The studio version marks St. Vincent's first new single since "Teenage Talk" turned up on the Girls soundtrack in 2015; her last full-length album arrived as 2014's self-titled offering.
