While fans continue to wait for that final Spiritualized album, frontman J. Spaceman is busying himself with a new collaboration with Chilean power-psych unit Föllakzoid.

The release is an EP going under the title of London Sessions, and it's due out on April 20 via Sacred Bones.

As a press release explains, Föllakzoid met Spaceman backstage at a Wooden Shjips show at London's Electric Ballroom a few years back, with the Spiritualized leader eventually joining the band to create to new, live-to-tape renditions of "Electric" and "Earth" from Föllakzoid's 2015 album III.

"Jason added a very different harmonic atmosphere to the songs," Föllakzoid guitarist Domingo Garcia-Huidobro explained in a statement. "It somehow re-articulated the space and metric that already existed in a way the band never could. These new versions have a different edge."

While sound samples have yet to arrive from the set, you can pre-order the 12-inch here. That's its cover art above.
