Metal force Soulfly are about to drop a bomb on us next month via the release of their next LP, Archangel. And that title's not the only biblical part of the LP, apparently, as would be evidenced by the new lyric video for the set's "Sodomites."
Crush grooves are packaged with passages from the books of Ezekiel and Genesis, here howled out by band leader Max Cavalera. The track also makes mention of warring tribes, while also bringing up the "sins of Gomorrah" and what it's like to be caught in Leviathan's den. The detuned riffs make for a damned weird bit of worship music, but you can do some studying by giving the video a peep down below.
As previously reported, Archangel rises up August 14 via Nuclear Blast. The band also have a North American tour on the horizon, and you can see the fall show schedule over here.
