In 2014, Son Lux spent part of the year involved with Sufjan Stevens' hip-hop project Sisyphus along with Serengeti, but with Sufjan now back to his folksy ways, Son Lux's Ryan Lott announced a new album with his main project. The record is called Bones, and it's due out on June 23 through Glassnote.
Sox Lux is currently operating as a trio with founder Lott joined by Ian Chang on drums and Rafiq Bhatia on guitar. Bones was co-written and recorded by all three musicians.
That's the album cover up above. The first single is called "Change Is Everything," although the NPR stream is geoblocked and currently isn't available in Canada.
This is the follow up to the EP Alternate Worlds, which came out last spring.
