This album, produced by John Alagia (Dave Matthews, John Mayer, O.A.R.), packs a dozen modern reggae, well-crafted tunes filled with positive lyrics that precah unity and change through universal themes such as love and hope. Opener "Mentality" has a couple of cool, dub-style effects. "Strength to Survive" starts with a harmonized horn section, which adds finesse and musicianship to the album. The horns also offer a similar timbre to Jacob Hemphill's sound, which is sometimes raspy and sometimes sweet and fine, depending on the mood. "Not Done Yet" plays with turntable effects, giving the flow of the album a fresh aural twist. Soja has found an international, die-hard fan base that they cater to and will not disappoint with this new album.
